Server Info

The Lord of Embers is a server that has run since 2019. This server runs the Legacy Lord of the Rings mod for Minecraft, and has been cultivating a several years long political landscape between the many factions of the Tolkein Legendarium, with each faction playing a key role in the server's history. This wiki will cover in detail the ever growing and developing server rules, server mechanics, and provide guides on how to make use of them. Everything you can find on this wiki is linked to the Navigation bar to the Left of the page (Or at the bottom of the page if you are on Mobile)


How do I join?

If You are running a Cracked version of Minecraft, be sure to let our administration team know so that we are able to add you to our redirection server, allowing cracked players to join while letting premium players remain unhindered by the /login requirements.

  1. Make sure you are running the latest Forge 1.7.10 (We recommend either 1558 or 1614).
  2. Make sure you are running the latest version of the Legacy 1.7.10 LOTR Mod.
  3. Our Server runs its own modified version of this mod, which you can find on our discord, this one is valuable as it provides correct information on our modified armor values. However, it is entirely voluntary.
  4. Place the LOTR Mod in your "mods" folder, to find this folder press WINDOWS + R on your keyboard and type %appdata%, it will open a folder where you can go to ".minecraft," inside this folder you may find the "mods" folder.
  5. and Finally join our server by entering "thelordofembers.com" as the IP address.
  6. If you are a cracked player, an admin will provide you a separate IP address.
