Region Buffs

Region Buffs are obtained by controlling 100% of a region (Thick White borders on the map). There are 3 types of modifiers, and many types of Buffs that can apply. Only towns within the controlled region obtain these benefits.

Type Description Variants
Fertile Soil Increases production of Crop Farms -
Lush Forest Increases production of Lumberyards -
Rich Minerals Increases production of Mines Iron, Copper, Tin, Silver, Gold, Orc Steel
Bountiful Hunt Increases production of Hunting or Fishing Hunting, Fishing
Grazing Fields Increases production of Animal Farms -
Special Resources Either Increases production or notifies if a resource can be extracted here. Mithril, Gems, Durnor, Gulduril, Edhelvil, Athelas
High Growth Increases amount of Conquest Training Arenas/Uruk Pits produce -
Natural Harbor Increases Naval Reach by 1, and Naval Strength by 1 -
Natural Beauty Adds a flat 25% Prosperity Boost to towns in the region -
Trade Zone Markets gain +1 market slot, and Harbors gain +2 market slots to towns in the region. -

Modifier Types

Type Description
+Amount Means that you may built +Amount over capacity in this region specifically
+Percent Means that resources will be multiplied by this amount (Rounded Down) (IE: 4 Lumberyards +25% = 5 Lumberyards of production.)
No Modifier Means that this resource can be built here avoiding biome requirements, (Gems however must still be in a Mountainous/ Foothill biome)

Negative Modifiers

There are currently 2 negative modifiers, these apply at all times, even if you do not control the whole region.

Type Description
Bleak No Crop Farms, No Animal Farms, No Hunting Lodges can be built in this region.
Hostile No Towns can be made here, and no Colonization can be done here, Cannot be invaded.
